Meesterklas Vuurboog (ENG) - Groot Bushcraftweekend

Dit jaar nodigen we internationale bushcrafters en makers uit van het Verenging Koninkrijk. Ook op het weekend zullen zij demo’s en andere workshops geven. De meesterklassen zullen in het Engels gegeven worden. 

On this Master Class we will look into the Bow Drill and how it is perceived, deactivate some myths highlighting that with a good technique and control regular success can be achieved by nearly all adults. You will play around with a selection of different materials for the hearth board and the drill. We will look to make a quality set and how we might go about finding each piece. You will also learn to appreciate the value of a calm attitude and how to interpret the sounds and feel of the motion. In addition we will go through many typical trouble shooting issues as well as understanding the refinements of the tinder bundle.
